Q:If my mobile phone would break down, or if I get another mobile phone, is it possible for me to get my data from a central site?
A: No, this is not possible as all data are stored on your mobile phone or tablet only. This is solely for your own protection, so no one else can get admission to your data. On the other hand you can regularly mail a MyStress pdf report to yourself, if you wish to store the information separately from your mobile phone.
Q: Can I adjust MyStress to another language than Danish?
A: Yes, you can choose between Danish, Norwegian, Swedish, English or German. This is also valid for the MyStress report, and you can regularly change between the five languages. In the extent that you want to personally add symptoms and triggers, these can only be shown in the language in which you have written them.
Q: Why do the smileys have different colors?
A: We have chosen a very easy color-code, to make it easy to get a quick overview, when you look into your calendar. The colors show the effect you have awarded to your coping actions or whether at all you have been under so much pressure that any coping was needed. A blue smiley shows that you have not been under pressure, and therefore made no coping attempts. A green smiley shows that you have registered that you felt under pressure, but you have successfully coped in a way, that removed your symptoms. A yellow smiley shows that your coping attempts only partially helped the symptoms and a red smiley shows that your attempts of coping with the pressure didn’t have any effect at all. A grey smiley means that you have been under pressure during the day but that you have not registered the impact of your coping attempts.
Q: Can I avoid these reminders?
A: Yes, press on the three dots at the top of the app on the right side. Here you can choose to set the reminders to “Off”. If you want to receive reminders, it is also here you will be able to indicate how long after an incomplete registration the reminder should appear.
Q: Are my entries in this app accessible to other people than myself?
A: No your entries will only be saved on your own mobile phone or tablet. Your entries cannot be shared with other people, unless you choose to send a MyStress report to for instance your closest leader.
Q: How do I get access to the reports and how can I print them?
A: At the top of the app on the right side of the page there is a calendar symbol. Press this and the calendar will appear. At the bottom of the page you will find “Report”. When you activate this, you can choose the timespan that the report should show, and hereafter you can mail the report, or view it on your mobile phone or tablet. As this part of the app is not free, it requires that you have an approved login to use this function.
Q: Why does my mobile phone not display the MyStress report?
Firstly you need an approved login to get access to the MyStress pdf report. The MyStress pdf-report also requires that you have installed Adobe Acrobat Reader on your mobile phone. This function is installed on most mobile phones and if it is not installed on yours, you can download it freely either from App Store or from Google Play Store.
Q: Is it possible to register more than one overload on the same day?
A: MyStress awards only one smiley per day, but you can change your registration to a more severe pressure, should you wish to, as well as add further symptoms, triggers and coping attempts within 24 hours. Here, the app will reset and start a new day. If you have not recorded the effect of how you are coping, you will be asked to do so the next time you open the app.
